TRANSPORTS
For a city of this size, a transport network is needed to cover it, and Malaga is linked by sea and air with the rest of the world.
Malaga Airport is the most important in Andalusia, and is linked to the city with eight city bus lines, along with a load of buses and trains linking it to the Costa del Sol.
The Port of Malaga is linked to the main Mediterranean ports and is currently the second Cruise port in the province.
The train network links the local lines with the rest of the Costa del Sol. RENFE is also connected with the main areas in the province and the rest of the country. A metro which is expected to open its two first lines in 2009 is also being built to improve the service even further.
The bus network is similar to the trains, linking the province with the rest of the country and providing an excellent network for moving around the city.
